Jimmy Burns is a recovering elementary school teacher. His act covers school life from both sides of the teachers desk; that of a student AND his ten years of being an elementary school teacher. “Our best education comes from life!”
Mr. Burns talks about marriage, divorce, being raised Catholic and how our perspective of life changes as we get older. “Our homework never ends kids and our life lessons are painfully hilarious!”
Jimmy has toured nationally with Brad Garrett, George Lopez, Arsenio Hall and was the audience warm-up for The Arsenio Hall talk show 2013-1014. He is also the house emcee at The Legendary Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, CA. He co-hosted the radio show “Live from Here” on The National Lampoon Comedy Radio Network, hosted “Show Me The Funny” on the Wealth Network, and has had a few TV commercials. Oh, and he shot a pilot for the Food Network called, “Stand-up & Grill!” No, you’ve never seen it.
